Leadership in a time of Crisis!

 Dr. Randal S. Langley, President CLST Global (an ICAL Alliance), sent the following letter in response to the evil event in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 1.

"The tragic news of what happened last night in Las Vegas is beyond words. Just when you think your heart can't break anymore and things can't get worse…

As a Christian leader you may be contemplating what to do? You can pray. You can give. You can serve. You’ll probably do all of these things.

But I just want you to know that the work you're doing day in and day out in the Kingdom (as a senior leader, as staff or as a volunteer) is more important than it's ever been.

When all that's left is hate, the Gospel moves us to love. Where “sin” abounds, God’s grace does much more abound! That's why believers and the local church are so important.

We need high capacity, Kingdom-minded leaders today more than ever! Followers don’t change the world, leaders do. I truly believe the work you do to train and equip leaders is one of the most significant things you can do. We are grateful to partner and serve you in providing the very best in Christian higher education programs and resources through CLST Global. I’m praying that you will be strengthened and encouraged as you serve and as we (once again) work through the problems we face in our culture.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that sharing the Kingdom of God and the love of Christ with others is the most important thing happening on the planet today.

Your leadership is greatly needed and is a huge part of the solution.
