ICAL’s Sri Lanka National Convenor, Woody Blok, reports that God’s Kingdom keeps advancing and their time has been a fruitful and joyful experience. Even though the economy has been particularly challenging, it is so heartening to see hope, expectation, and smiles on the faces of God’s people. They remain strong.

This is not so with non-believers. In Sri Lanka, the difference is very evident. Deep, pensive, worried, hopeless-looking faces staring out with an emptiness, longing for something that gives hope. A huge opportunity for the Gospel! I have had some wonderful, definite opportunities to share the Gospel with non-believers searching for truth and hope. Truly, the Kingdom Gospel is the only answer!

Pastors and Apostolic Leaders BA Program and Diploma Certificate Program 

Harvest Leadership Institute (HLI) keeps me busy teaching, training and equipping pastors and apostolic leaders. It is heartening to see hunger, commitment and dedication. Many attend from distant places, especially rural areas. Lives are changed and empowered as they experience the anointing. They are equipped to preach the gospel, evangelize, heal the sick, and carry God’s Kingdom throughout the land where less than 2% are committed Christians. A fresh wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing!

A Marriage Conference was held for our apostolic network leaders, Oasis Alliance. Pastors, five-fold leaders and spouses attended and were touched and healed. This was such a great need as they are leading churches and ministries and need to be healthy, especially in their marriages.

Visiting rural churches

This was a very, very precious time. The testimonies and stories of these pastors and apostolic leaders were astounding. Almost all have been through times of unimaginable persecution and trauma from Buddhist monks and communities. But they refuse to give up and continue to grow stronger and stronger in faith and vision.

Many buildings come under a barrage of constant stoning. God protected them, and they overcame. Churches and believers have been attacked. True heroes of the faith!

We ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with the Lord as we reach more souls, train Kingdom leaders and care for distressed children and youth.
