Church in the "Upper Room" in Portugal

Apostles António Melo & Carla Melo send the following news from Portugal:

As the rest of the world, we in Portugal, are still under the known pandemic restrictions.

 In the beginning of this year, we have gathered the national Apostles, and established the Apostolic Portuguese Union, with a purpose to relate, pray and learn from one another. I have been sharing with them about ICAL ministry, and they all are interested in becoming members. 

In the meantime, we were not able to meet since last March, but weekly, by Zoom, we meet, pray, share and discuss about Apostolic matters, how to influence our nation, and strategies for the days ahead.

 My wife and I have been connected with several nations and events participating as Apostles and ministering to our disciples. We consider that for the Church of Jesus it’s not a “lockdown”, but we are in the “Upper Room”, been evaluated, trained, aligned, for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit in a greater measure, to work in the great harvest that is coming. 

[We have not ] Even been allowed to have the normal services, at our local congregation, we still have maintained by live-stream, the meetings of Friday night and Sunday morning.  [On] 30th May, the Church in Portugal will be able to meet again, and with the Apostles and Prophets of the Nation, we are planning an event to celebrate the Day/Feast of Pentecost, mainly with the congregations that all the Apostles lead, but it will also be live-stream for all the nation and abroad.

 We keep our hearts and focus on the Lord, knowing that He is control of all and He will lead us by His Holy Spirit in the coming days, a new prophetic cycle, that will bring the His newness and more greater opportunities and challenges to overcome.
